Virtual Scientia is pleased to share that Dr Shazia C. Hyatt has co-authored a new guest article for techUK on the role of digital twins in AI-enabled healthcare and next-generation deep learning.
The article, titled “Digital twins – the convergence point for AI-enabled personalised healthcare and next-generation deep learning,” was published by techUK as part of its Technology and Innovation programme.
Co-authored with Dr Austė Kanapeckaitė, Prof David Wagg and Prof Andrea Townsend-Nicholson, the article explores how digital twins could help reshape biopharma and healthcare by supporting more dynamic, data-connected and personalised approaches to research, development and clinical innovation.
The piece discusses the growing strategic importance of digital twins, the limitations of current AI and R&D models, and the need for stronger investment, regulation and collaboration across the UK and Europe.
This is highly relevant to Virtual Scientia’s work developing AI-enabled virtual lab simulators and data-connected experimental environments for practical science training, research and industry use.
